The ABC National Executive Committee is made up of 11 members: the chairman, chairman-elect, immediate past chairman, a regional vice-chairman elected from each of the association's seven regions, and an appointed treasurer/secretary. In addition, there are two ex officio members of the Executive Committee including the ABC president and CEO and the ABC chapter presidents liaison.
