EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS 
ABC's Awards of Excellence Program has become the premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects across the nation.

The application for the 2012 competition is now available.  Be sure to check with your local chapter regarding their 2012 competitions.

2012 Competition Timeline and Deadlines

October 15, 2012
- Date projects must be completed by
November 2, 2012 - Deadline for online registration (Registration will open in the early fall.)
November 19, 2012 - Deadline for binders to be sent to ABC National
December 14, 2012 - Winners will be notified.  Please add EIC@abc.org to your email contact list to be sure you receive our emails.
February 20, 2013 - EIC Banquet, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.


2011 Awards Competition

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2011 National Excellence in Construction winners!  The awards were presented February 22, 2012 at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. During the evening's black-tie optional event, over 100 companies were presented with awards for Excellence in Construction as well as Safety and Diversity.  To see a full list of winners, view the event's program

To enter the 2012 competition, see the timeline below.  In order to be eligible to enter at the national level, a project must first win at the chapter level. Check with your local chapter to learn about applicable deadlines.

Full descriptions of the categories are available to help you decide which category to enter your project in. A *NEW* category was added for the 2011 competition - Community / Public Service, for both general and specialty contractors. Awards are offered in the following categories:

DEADLINES

For the 2012 competition, projects must be completed by October 15, 2012.

Projects must be registered online by Friday, November 2, 2012.  Registration will be live in the fall of 2012.

All project binders including application forms must be mailed to the ABC national office with a postmark or shipping service pick-up date no later than Monday, November 19, 2012.
