ABC Craft Professional of the Year To Receive New Truck in Riverside

Anaheim, Calif. – Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), Tradesmen International, Chrysler Group LLC and the Trimmer Construction Education Foundation will honor ABC’s Craft Professional of the Year, Robert Stuart, this Friday at Stronghold Engineering’s office at 2000 Market Street in Riverside, Calif. Stuart, a superintendent at Stronghold Engineering was named ABC’s Craft Professional of the Year this May during ABC’s National Craft Championships and Workforce Development Conference in Birmingham, Ala.

ABC presents the Craft Professional of the Year award to a construction craft professional who excels in his or her field while also demonstrating a commitment to safety, training and the merit shop philosophy each year.

Stuart will be presented with a brand new 2014 Ram Tradesman 1500 Crew Cab truck from DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula, Calif. The truck was paid for by Tradesmen International, the exclusive sponsor of the Craft Professional of the Year for more than a decade. The truck includes custom upgrades donated by supporting sponsor and ABC business partner, the Chrysler Group. The taxes for the truck were paid by the Trimmer Construction Education Foundation.

Stuart began his career with Stronghold Engineering while still in high school in 1997. Throughout his career he has also demonstrated a commitment to helping those around him. In 2011 he was named ABC’s Craft Instructor of the Year for his devotion to mentoring electrical apprentices at ABC’s Southern California Chapter. He is also actively involved in the Apprenticeship 411 program where he conducts training and seminars for more than 200 high school students and their parents.
