USACE Issues PLA Survey for Florida Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is soliciting comments from the construction industry on the potential use of a government-mandated project labor agreement (PLA) for a large-scale school construction project in Duke Field, Fla. and the surrounding area.

The project will consist of building and renovating an operations facility, maintenance facilities and airfield pavements. Surveys must be submitted to Rosemary C. Hall at [email protected] by March 15.

All ABC members and construction professionals are encouraged to respond to the request for information and tell USACE that government-mandated PLAs harm competition, increase costs, and impede the economy and efficiency of government contracting.
