Coffee Shop Series comprising four luncheons with a leader where key chapter members and CEO eat with students and discuss leadership as well as providing a motivational speaker and one leadership book.

Established in 2003, the program spans nine months of the year (January through September).

The group meets one evening a month for 2½ hours.

Program participants are encouraged to join a chapter committee, and many have also served on the chapter Board of Directors. A 2004 program graduate is on the chapter Executive Committee and will serve as chairman of the board in 2012.

Program graduates are recognized at the chapter's annual business meeting, featured on the chapter website and provided special badge ribbons.

Program Description:
- Established in 2005, the Future Leaders in Construction is a program that helps to develop leadership skills in anyone. Topics include: what makes a good leader, setting and achieving goals, listening, attitude, change and transition and more. These are covered with support from nationally-recognized publications, group discussion and exercises as well as visits from industry leaders within the chapter's membership. This program has proven benefits for all levels of an organization – from the business owner to a field superintendent to an office administrator.
- Duration of program is eight months.
- One class held per month - discussion format.
- Participants become graduates and are recognized at a spring awards event.

Program Description:
- The Emerging Leaders Program is a group dedicated to enhancing the growth of the next generation of construction leadership through mentoring programs, networking and outreach events, and educational programming.
- The chapter has been presenting networking events and mentor "lunch and learns" for about a year.
- The name of the group was recently changed from Young Professionals to Emerging Leaders, from which a small group has emerged as the "Executive Committee," intent on growing participation beyond the current group of 10-15 with a goal of 40-50 by the end of 2012.
- The chapter Board of Directors voted to give the program formal standing, with one representative from the group sitting on the Board of Directors with full voting rights beginning in 2012.
