This training and orientation program is a great investment that provides your staff with the tools, best practices, and contacts that will help them achieve success. Whether your staff is a few months on the job or a seasoned professional, this training program is for them. Click here for a copy of the agenda.
The program is designed to cover all aspects of National programs and give time for core training in their particular area of responsibility. The program provides information on government affairs, education, membership, communications, finances, human resources, insurance and on IT for the web and database. Representatives from each ABC National division will be on hand to discuss available resources and familiarize them with the organizational structure.
The training is offered March 5 -6 or September 17 -18, 2012. The orientation and database training are free of charge for chapter staff and include breakfast and lunch both days, and a welcome dinner. We will provide you with information on accommodations local to the ABC National office; however, as has been the practice with all of the database training, travel and lodging expenses will be the chapter's responsibility.
There are a number of hotels located within a 3-4 block radius of the National office. Flying into Reagan National Airport is the easiest and closest airport to the office; however, both Dulles and BWI airports have transportation options but require you to build in an additional 45 to 90 minutes of ground travel.
If you need more information on the program please contact, Jeff Lambert, Senior Director, Chapter Development, lambert@abc.org, for details regarding this opportunity.
