ABC is now offering a new education program at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., the ABC Project Management Institute, designed to teach owners, project managers and estimators how to utilize and develop tools that will improve profitability and productivity.

The program consists of 80 hours of instruction in two non-concurrent 40-hour sessions, broken up with an interim period between classes allowing for applied assignments and reporting. Classes are in session from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. and the program includes a welcome dinner and reception and a closing and graduation banquet. Class size is limited to provide an interactive experience and to allow the faculty to be fully available to the attendees.

Classes are taught by instructors from the Department of Building and Construction Management at Purdue University and are focused on using real examples and case studies to provide participants management tools they can bring back to their firms.
