The Red Cross’ Disaster Relief fund is open to donations at any time and is the first resource the Red Cross taps into immediately following a natural disaster or other emergency. Depending on the magnitude or severity of the event, they will break out a separate fund for donations.
If you would like to make a donation, please keep in mind:
- When sharing the link with colleagues or employees, use the shortcut URL above rather than the full URL that appears in your browser. This will prevent complications and is crucial for tracking purposes.
- Donors using personal credit cards must enter the billing address that matches their credit card and not their work address when making a donation. The transaction may be declined if the billing address they enter does not match the address on file with their bank or credit card company.
- There is a minimum donation of $10 for credit card payments.
- Donations received through the site will automatically generate an e-mail confirmation that serves as the official receipt for tax purposes.
