ABC recently joined more than 20 other groups involved in the design, construction, operations and management of the built environment to create the Alliance for a Resilient Tomorrow. The purpose of the alliance is to promote resilience, which is the ability to prepare and plan for, absorb, recover from, and more successfully adapt to adverse events.
To launch this partnership, the groups are holding an event May 13, 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m. (ET) at the National Building Museum, Washington, D.C. The event is open to the public and will feature panel discussions with CEOs from many of the participating organizations to explore how the design and construction industries can make the nation’s infrastructure and environment safer and more secure.
