OSHA and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) have re-launched their construction falls prevention campaign to raise awareness of fall hazards and provide information that employers and workers can use to prevent injury and death.

Using simple language, clear illustrations and easy-to-follow instructions, campaign materials include posters, fact sheets, safety videos, stickers, public service announcements and web materials. For 2013, the campaign is offering fact sheets in English, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese and Russian and a bilingual English-Spanish e-book on ladder safety.

In the coming months, OSHA also plans to launch a smartphone-accessible version of its website and NIOSH is planning to provide alternative versions of the campaign poster in Spanish and English and spot-the-hazard worksheets on its website.

To obtain printed materials, contact Frank Meilinger, OSHA’s director of communications, [email protected] or 202-693-1999.
