The Lincoln Memorial needed a good cleaning this summer so a group of volunteers from ABC’s Baltimore chapter stepped up to the plate.
As a part of a national effort Clean Across America organized by Power Washers of North America (PWNA), this July a group of volunteers from across the country descended on Washington, D.C. with DeWalt Pressure Washers in hand to clean and improve the city. Clean Across America became an annual event several years ago when members of the PWNA began donating their services to local communities, parks, public aid programs and other charity organizations.
“Together with the PWNA, we’re pleased to be a part of this worthwhile and much-needed effort,” said John Weetenkamp, group product manager for DeWalt Pressure Washers. “It’s gratifying to know that DeWalt pressure washers are contributing to the enjoyment of those people who visit the Lincoln Memorial by restoring it to the more pristine stat that a monument of national importance deserves.”
