This year’s competition focused on a bid-day format. Teams were given subcontractor bids every 15 minutes and were required to submit an overall bid form. The teams had to assemble supporting materials justifying calculations in their bids.
This competition gives the nation’s top construction management students a glimpse into the real world of construction, as well as an opportunity to showcase their talents. As the future of the merit shop construction industry, the students’ dedication and determination throughout the competition was an inspiration to all of ABC’s convention attendees.
