ABC Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. (ET) will offer a webinar titled, “
Complying with Federal Apprenticeship Requirements.” The webinar will be presented by ABC General Counsel Maury Baskin, partner, Venable LLP, and will help contractors and ABC staff comply with the maze of rules governing registered apprenticeship programs.
The webinar will update attendees on recent and upcoming changes in federal apprenticeship standards; provide an overview of Internal Revenue Service and Employee Retirement Income Security Act guidelines for different types of apprenticeship programs; and explain the interplay between apprenticeship programs and the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage law.
