During the March 16 opening session of the 2006 ABC National Convention in Las Vegas, ABC presented the Charles A. Mullan awards to the chapters in each of the 10 ABC divisions that demonstrated the greatest growth in their membership dues base in 2005.
"The Charles A. Mullan award is the most prestigious membership growth award that a chapter can receive," said Kirk Pickerel, ABC president and CEO, in remarks before the awards presentation. "Charley Mullan was one of the seven original founders of our association. In fact, he set up the first meeting in his own living room on a May afternoon in 1950. Charley, the last of our founding fathers, died last spring, but his legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of every merit shop contractor across this great nation.
“These Mullan award winners represent the best of the best, and ABC is proud to honor their hard work and achievement,” Pickerel said.
The 2005 Charles A. Mullan Award winners are:

Division 2: Florida East Coast chapter
Division 3: Georgia chapter
Division 4: Mid-Tennessee chapter
Division 5: Southern California chapter
Division 6: Las Vegas chapter
Division 7: Carolinas chapter
Division 8: East Tennessee chapter
Division 9: Sierra Nevada chapter
Division 10: Southeast Texas chapter
