Work-site safety is paramount to the successful completion of construction projects. Through participation in the
ABC National Safety Excellence and
Construction Users Roundtable's (CURT) Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Awards, ABC is able to recognize companies who strive to maintain outstanding safety programs, policies, and procedures.
The ABC National Safety Excellence Awards recognize companies who exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee. Awards are based on data submitted via STEP Diamond and Platinum applications and company interviews/site visits. Award categories are based on a company's total work-hours per calendar year and placement within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).
The 2011 National Safety Excellence Awards will be presented Wednesday, February 22, 2012 during the 22nd annual Excellence In Construction banquet at ABC's premier event, BizCon, at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, Arizona.
The deadline to submit 2011 National Safety Excellence Award applications has passed. Thank you to all who have entered!
*Please note that the 2011 NSEA competition is open to 2011 STEP Diamond and Platinum recipients ONLY.
The Constructor Segment of the Construction Users Round Table (CURT) Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Awards program recognizes commendable safety performance of individual constructor firms. The awards are intended to convey CURT's strong support of constructor safety performance.
2010 and 2011 recipients of ABC's STEP Diamond and Platinum awards are eligible to apply. All applications must be endorsed by a sponsoring National Organization, such as ABC, or a CURT Local Users' Council.
