download the New Chapter Staff Needs Assessment Form, complete and email or fax to Caletha Ellerbe at
ellerbe@abc.org or (703) 812-8235. The submission of this form will ensure that your new staff member receives access to the ABC National website, listservs and training that your chapter deems appropriate, based on his/her job responsibilities, in addition to being included in the ABC Chapter Directory.
New chapter president training consists of a number of unique training opportunities including peer-to-peer sessions, orientation at ABC National and selected sessions at the ABC Institute. | The Presidents’ Exchange Program encourages the sharing of ideas and best practices through on-site visits between chapter presidents to examine another chapter’s programs and operations. Chapters of all sizes have an opportunity to participate in this program by filling in the application located in the box to the right. The Presidents’ Council has created the Presidents’ Exchange Program (PEP) to provide chapter presidents with the opportunity to closely examine how other chapters operate to find new ideas they can adopt and implement as new programs, services and operations. This program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable, insights that can result in improvements that ultimately help a chapter excel. | |
New membership professionals receive personal on-site training as well as an annual orientation program with their peers prior to the ABC Institute.
