National Safety Excellence Award

The ABC National Safety Excellence Awards recognize companies who exhibit a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be exemplary by the ABC National Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Committee. Awards are based on data submitted via STEP applications, essay questions and video interviews with company Presidents/CEOs/Principals about their corporate safety culture. Award categories are based on a company's total work-hours per calendar year and placement within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS).

The National Safety Excellence Award competition is open to all STEP Diamond and Platinum recipients at no cost. STEP Gold recipients may apply for the NSEA competition for a $450 application fee.

The 2015 National Safety Excellence Awards will be presented on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 during the 26th annual Excellence In Construction banquet in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., as part of ABC's Workforce Week.  Please click on the links below for lists of 2014 National Safety Award Winners:

Deadlines

The deadline to submit 2015 National Safety Excellence Award applications is 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday, September 30th, 2015. Winners will be announced at the 26th annual Excellence In Construction Awards banquet Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
