Chapter Presidents Council Liaison

Heart of America Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors

Michele Roberts-Bauer, president of the Heart of America Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, is the 2021 Chapter Presidents’ Council liaison to ABC’s Executive Committee. In this role, Roberts-Bauer also serves as chair of the Chapter Presidents Council and is responsible for the coordination of communications between ABC’s 68 Chapters and the national organization. As president of ABC Heart of America, Michele is responsible for executing the strategic vision of the organization, advocating on behalf of merit shop contractors across Missouri and Kansas and delivering quality educational resources for all elements of the construction team.

Prior to her time with ABC Heart of America, she served ABC members at the Western Washington Chapter and worked in chapter services with ABC National.

Roberts-Bauer serves on the Board of Directors of Workforce Partnership and the Construction Workforce Board for Kansas City, Missouri.

A graduate of Winthrop University in her home state of South Carolina, Roberts-Bauer has dedicated her entire career to helping contractors solve problems and connecting individuals to the incredible career opportunities in the construction industry.
