More than 400 hundred ABC members are on Capitol Hill this week advocating for important merit shop issues with their members of Congress. For those members unable to make the trip, there is still an opportunity to participate virtually by contacting their elected officials from a computer or mobile device using ABC's Action App on your
iPhone or
Android, or downloading the update.
The app contains three key issues related to the
Government Neutrality in Contracting Act (H.R. 436/S. 109),
the health care law and
the NLRB's "ambush" elections rule. For issues that aren't listed, members also can use the "Legislators" tab to search for their state and identify their legislators, see their voting record of key ABC issues and then contact them.
In addition, members can access ABC's archived "The ABC's of Lobbying" webinar on the
Academy for Construction Ethics, Compliance and Best Practices (login required) and can see
ABC’s priority issues.
