FirstLab Offers Webinar on New Program that Affects CDL Drivers

ABC’s business partner FirstLab is offering two free webinars Nov. 27 for employers with workers who have Commercial Driver Licenses (CDLs). The webinars will discuss the new National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) program.

The NRCME is scheduled to be implemented May 21, 2014, and will significantly affect how CDL drivers must comply with medical certification requirements.

Dr. Natalie Hartenbaum, FirstLab medical director of occupational health and chief medical review officer, will help employers understand how the new program will affect their operations.

FirstLab is offering two hour-long sessions on Nov. 27 at 11a.m (EST) and 3 p.m. (EST).
