ABC will be hosting a two-day STEP Plus Safety Excellence Academy during BizCon, Feb. 19-20. This in-depth course on safety culture and mindset will be presented by leaders who are both contractors and owners, and will establish the path for achieving world-class safety performance. Space is limited to 30 participants, so register now. 

Speakers will include Joel Pickering and Michael Lentz from Lend Lease and Gary Birchall from DuPont.

The STEP Plus Safety Excellence Academy, launched in 2012, is designed to help participants understand the importance of leadership commitment, cultural transformation and safety management processes in achieving a zero-incident jobsite. 

This event is separate from BizCon, so participants need only register for the Safety Academy to attend.  The STEP Plus Safety Excellence Academy registration fee is $395, and only 30 participants will be accepted.

Graduates of the train-the-trainer course at BizCon are required to facilitate the 2013 Safety Academy at the 21st Century Workforce Development Conference, April 30-May 2, Birmingham, Ala., or the ABC Institute Nov. 5-7, Las Vegas, Nev., as part of the trainer certification process.  Potential trainer candidates must complete the attached application and hold either NCCER Master Trainer or OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer status.
