The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is
soliciting comments from the construction industry on the potential use of a government-mandated project labor agreement (PLA) for a project at the New Mexico Cannon Air Force Base.
The project is within the Clovis Micropolitan Statistical Area, which contains Cannon Air Force Base, and will consist of constructing a two-story replacement medical and dental clinic, approximately 100,000 square-feet.
Comments should be submitted to Kathleen Mayer,
[email protected], by Friday, Feb. 22. For more information on the project, click
here.
All ABC members and construction professionals are encouraged to respond to the request for information and tell USACE that government-mandated PLAs harm competition, increase costs, and impede the economy and efficiency of government contracting.
