WEBINAR DESCRIPTION
This webinar will review a number of subjects that owners, HR professionals, superintendents and other management officials, need to know about immigration compliance.

With the chances of being inspected and fined by Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) growing by 600% in the past 6 years, this webinar will focus on what are examples of I-9 violations, the potential costs of an ICE inspection and how to protect your company through I-9 self-audits. It will discuss who should perform such I-9 audits and the pitfalls of a company performing its own I-9 audit without an attorney’s guidance. The webinar will also cover the proper way to correct I-9 form errors and what could happen if not done correctly.

The webinar will cover another important topic - what to do if an employee presents  a new identity. This is likely to occur more frequently due to Obama’s Executive Actions on Immigration.

THIS WEBINAR IS DESIGNED TO:
  • Educate the attendees on the importance of I-9 forms
  • Demonstrated the need for self-audits
  • Demonstrate how to correct errors on I-9 forms
  • Provide options on what a company should do if an employee presents a new identity
