WEBINAR DESCRIPTION
In 2009 ABC and Fringe Benefit Group (FBG) partnered to provide prevailing wage contractors with a compliant 401k program called The Contractors Plan. With more than 500 members as current clients the program has been a success, especially in terms of helping ABC members bid more competitively on prevailing wage jobs.

Fringe Benefit Group and ABC are now expanding on this success to bring all member firms employee benefits solutions specifically designed and built for hourly employee populations. FBG brings ABC member firms government compliance expertise and ease of administration. FBG is responsible for all product quotation, client and member service, billing and premium remittance, online enrollment and eligibility management and more.

This Webinar will introduce members to The Contractors Plan Total Benefits Solution. ACA compliance and determining if your firm is subject to penalties, and how to avoid them, will be discussed.

THIS WEBINAR IS DESIGNED TO:
  • Convey key facts about the Affordable Care Act
  • Understand ACA penalties and who they impact
  • How offering benefits can make bids more competitive
  • Illustrate healthcare compliant solutions designed exclusively for prevailing wage contractors

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
As executive vice president of Fringe Benefit Group, Brian Robertson is dedicated to educating employers and the insurance community about insurance solutions for America's hourly and part-time workforce. ACA has radically changed how employers might want to approach this market and key developments will occur over the next few years. Brian is responsible for strategy, product development, sales, marketing and partner relations for The American Worker, the division of Fringe Benefit Group which provides a wide variety of insurance products for hourly and part-time workers — a fast-growing segment of America's workforce. The American Worker is focused on providing an affordable benefit package, communication and enrollment services, and unique billing and premium payment options for hourly and part-time workers. Brian's efforts have created a successful business opportunity for Fringe Benefit Group in addition to the company's expertise in government contractor health and welfare and retirement plans.

A frequent speaker and author, Brian is a member of the National Association of Underwriters, Council for Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB) and Benefits Selling magazine's Editorial Advisory Board. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University.
