ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
 Bill leads McGladrey’s Northeast Region technology consulting practice. He uses his 17 years of experience in technology, business operations management and finance to align people, process and technology to best serve his clients’ organizational strategy.  Bill specializes in providing comprehensive services to solve complex business issues in the areas of performance management, IT strategy, IT outsourcing, IT risk, and cloud computing.  Bill is responsible for executing strategy and managing operations for McGladrey’s Technology Consulting practice for the Northeast region. He demonstrates excellence in leadership, launching innovative services, and expanding the team’s capabilities.

Prior to McGladrey, Bill led the consulting practice at Caturano and Company, formerly the largest regional audit, tax and consulting firm in New England until it was acquired by McGladrey in 2010. In 2001, he was promoted to director and began leading both the internal firm-wide technology support team and client-facing external technology consulting services. In 2002, Bill became the first non-CPA shareholder in the Firm’s history. Bill designed and implemented the group’s strategic plan, which included expanding its service line and building a team to support those services. Under his leadership, Bill transformed the consulting practice from a 4-person team in 2005 to a 100+ person full-service financial, risk and technology consulting practice with 2013 revenues reaching over $30M operating under the McGladrey brand.

Bill’s leadership has earned the practice numerous accolades, including being named one of the area’s “Top 15 Technology Consulting” firms by the Boston Business Journal for 5 consecutive years. In 2008, he was honored by the Boston Business Journal as one of the 40 professionals under the age of 40 for business success and community contributions on the Boston area. In May 2011, Bill was chosen by Consulting Magazine as one of the “Top 15 Consultants” in the nation. Bill frequently speaks on topics relating to cloud computing, operational strategy, change management, IT trends, IT outsourcing, and IT governance.

 Christopher Wetmore is a director in McGladrey’s Technology Advisory practice. He has over ten years of accomplished and diverse IT industry experience. Prior to joining McGladrey, Chris worked as a Project Manager/Business analyst as part of Proctor & Gamble and the Publicis Group. Chris specialized in vendor and software selections, business process re-design, as well as the implementation of various business intelligence tools.

Following his time at Publicis Group, Chris worked as a senior consultant, project management and business analysis professional at Collaborative Consulting. While in this role he efficiently leveraged business resources to define and improve business processes and goals.  After that, he worked at Homesite Insurance Company as a business analyst and project manager focusing on Claims Enterprise management and Business Objects Reporting.

As a manager at McGladrey, Chris has continued to focus on IT optimization & assessments, business process re-engineering, software selection, and business Intelligence and corporate performance management implementations.  Chris also has significant experience guiding organizations through major restructuring and acquisition initiatives that have operational, financial and technology impacts.
