Don’t Raise Taxes on Businesses, Groups Tell Congress

President Barack Obama will be holding a summit Nov. 16 at the White House with congressional and corporate leaders to discuss the impending year-end tax increases and spending cuts, known as the fiscal cliff. In a Nov. 14 statement, ABC expressed concern over the troubling exclusion of small businesses from the summit.

Health Care Law Employer Reporting Required On 2012 W-2 Forms

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act requires employers that issue more than 250 W-2 forms to report the cost of health care coverage under an employer-sponsored group health plan on each employee’s 2012 W-2 form, which generally are required to be provided to employees in January 2013.
