ABC Careers in Construction Awards

The ABC Careers in Construction Awards features the Craft Instructor of the Year, the Craft Professional of the Year and the Student Chapter of the Year. These individuals play critical roles in shaping the future of the construction industry by highlighting construction as a meaningful life-long career, emphasizing safe work practices and reinforcing education and training opportunities.

Construction Management Competition

ABC's Construction Management Competition (CMC) is a hallmark competition that promotes careers in construction management. The CMC is designed to challenge construction knowledge, time management, organizational, and presentation skills. The two-day competition features teams of four (4) college/university students testing their project management, estimating, safety, quality control, and presentation skills.

National Craft Championships

Craft trainees from chapter and member firm training programs across the country come together to compete in the annual National Craft Championships (NCC), the embodiment of ABC's continuing commitment to foster growth and excellence in training among our nation's future workforce. During this intense two-day event, young men and women compete in one of 16 competitions, representing 12 crafts.
