Calvin E. Williams

Calvin E. Williams is founder and chief executive officer of Construction Contracting Services Inc., Lansing, Illinois, and the Midwest* region vice chair of Associated Builders in Contractors. He is also an active member of the ABC Illinois Chapter.

Williams founded CCSI, a general contracting construction consulting and advisory firm that specializes in vertical construction, in 2010, and has years of project management and corporate estimating experience in a variety of commercial construction sectors. Previously, Williams was a project manager with Walsh Construction, one of the nation’s largest and most respected general contracting, construction management and design-build firms.

Williams chaired the committee on construction at the Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce from 2011-2017 and is chairman emeritus and a member of the board of directors at the Love, Unity and Values Institute, a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire hope and empower underserved youth with economic opportunities, while building resiliency and social-emotional competencies. He earned a graduate degree in social work administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
