Chris Martinez, owner and president of Central Electric Ent. & Co., San Antonio, is the South Central* region vice chair of Associated Builders and Contractors.

Active in ABC since 2016, Martinez has served his local chapter, ABC South Texas, in many committees and board leadership roles, including twice as chapter chair. Martinez has further been involved at the national level, serving on the Business Development Committee, Finance Committee and Membership Marketing Group. He has appeared on various ABC technology webinars and was a recent presenter at ABC ONE Conference.

He is a second-generation owner of Central Electric, which was started by his parents in 1975.

Martinez graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. He was recently recognized into the 2024 class of distinguished alumnus and is a past commencement speaker.
