Kenneth Gardiner, an audit consulting partner at Dannible & McKee, Syracuse, New York, is the treasurer of Associated Builders and Contractors. He has been a longstanding and active member of ABC Empire State chapter since 1985 and is a former treasurer and chair of the chapter Board of Directors and a chapter Hall of Fame inductee.
With nearly 45 years of experience, Gardiner provides audit and accounting services for a variety of clients and specializes in the construction, manufacturing, architecture and engineering industries.
Gardiner also has extensive experience with audits of employee benefit plans and has been involved with consulting projects and auditing of Federal Acquisition Regulation overhead rates. He has had direct responsibility for many consulting services provided to clientele, including development of financial reporting systems.
Gardiner earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Le Moyne College. He is also a certified public accountant in New York and Pennsylvania and the first person in upstate New York to receive the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional.
