This webinar will highlight the most significant changes to know in your contracts. Covered issues will include consequential damages, delegated design, builder’s risk property insurance and flow-down consistency among the prime and subcontract agreements.

You will hear about the consensus revision process, how updated terms changed, and how they differ from the American Institute of Architects standard contract documents and most bespoke construction contracts. The speakers will provide the perspectives of owners, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals who provided input into this process.the National Labor Relations Board and offer guidance to merit shop contractors on navigating the board’s pro-labor agenda. Particularly, he will discuss the recent big changes in union-organizing ground rules and new restrictions on employer conduct that affect every merit shop contractor. Baskin will also cover major changes in employee handbooks, joint employer status, new rules governing severance and noncompete agreements, and independent contractor misclassification.
