ABC sent a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in support of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). This legislation would improve our nation's workforce development programs by ensuring small businesses will have the opportunity to participate in shaping workforce training programs. The legislation also removes discriminatory statutory language in existing laws that limited access to certain green job training grants only to those firms associated with a union.
