In addition, ABC produces the Construction Backlog Indicator, the only economic indicator that reflects the amount of work that will be performed by commercial and industrial construction contractors in the months ahead, and the Construction Confidence Index, a diffusion index that signals construction contractors’ expectations for sales, profit margins and staffing levels. ABC Awarded $50,000 Grant From Turner Foundation For Green Building Initiatives

Washington, D.C. – Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today announced it received a $50,000 grant from the Atlanta-based Turner Foundation, Inc., founded by Ted Turner. This is the third consecutive year ABC has received this grant, which will be used to support the association’s green building initiatives with a focus on expanding its green certification and training programs. ABC Runs Political Ads Ahead Of 'Super Tuesday' Voting

Washington, D.C. – Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today announced it is running Internet and newspaper advertising in Ohio and Tennessee in advance of the March 6 “Super Tuesday” caucus and primaries. A 3/4-page newspaper ad supporting former Gov. Mitt Romney for president appeared in the Sunday, March 4, edition of The Columbus Dispatch.
