BLS Reports Little Change In Safety Numbers For 2011

Funding Resolution Signed That Includes DOL Restrictions On H-2B And MSD Rules

President Obama Sept. 28 signed into law a continuing appropriation resolution (H.J. Res. 117) that will fund the Department of Labor (DOL), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Equal Opportunity Commission for the first six months of fiscal year 2013, but that also includes restrictions on actions by DOL. OSHA Adds Four New OTI Centers And Renews 24 Existing Centers

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Sept. 28 announced it added four new OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers in addition to renewing 24 existing centers.
