ABC Applauds Confirmation of William Emanuel to NLRB

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25--Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) today released the following statement from Kristen Swearingen, vice president of Legislative & Political Affairs, on the confirmation of William Emanuel to serve on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

“With its recent history of anti-business rulemakings, precedent-reversing legal decisions and an aggressive expansion of enforcement authority, the NLRB desperately needed a course correction in its leadership. William Emanuel is an expert in the field of labor relations and has expressed his commitment to interpreting the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) in a manner that is fair to workers, unions and employers alike, and that is why his confirmation was a key vote for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). We look forward to having a full, functioning five-member board.”
