National Apprenticeship Week is a week-long celebration that encourages workforce leaders to demonstrate their commitment to apprenticeship and educate those around them. NAW also gives apprenticeship sponsors the opportunity to promote their programs, facilities and apprentices in their respective communities.

ABC and the U.S. Department of Labor will be highlighting how apprenticeships can prepare a highly-skilled workforce to meet the needs of employers in all industries across the country. ABC National has developed social media assets to help ABC members and volunteers promote NAW throughout the week. Don’t forget to post your company or organization’s events on social media to let others know how you are celebrating.

Visit the DOL’s website to learn how to get involved. You can join the movement by registering your event or attending one near you. Explore the website’s event toolkit, report on last year’s NAW, maps, statistics and list of proclamations.
