Only One Week Left to Submit NCC Intent-to-Compete Forms

Do your apprentices and craft trainees have what it takes to win the national title of ABC Craft Champion? The 2016 National Craft Championships (NCC) intent-to-compete deadline is around the corner; get your forms in before Dec. 1 to participate in the 2016 NCC in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 1-4.

The intense two-day event will be held in conjunction with ABC’s Workforce Week and features the best craft trainees from around the country competing in 15 competitions, representing 13 crafts.

Some crafts require additional planning and can accept only a limited number of competitors, so don’t delay in sending in the forms. Competitors will be accepted to compete on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 2016 competition will feature the below competitions:

  • Carpentry: Residential/Commercial
  • Electrical: Commercial-Industrial
  • Electrical: Residential-Commercial
  • Fire Sprinkler
  • HVAC
  • Instrumentation Fitting
  • Insulation
  • Masonry
  • Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 
  • Pipefitting
  • Plumbing
  • Sheet Metal
  • Team Competition
  • Welding-Pipe
  • Welding-Structural
