The New England district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting responses from the construction industry for a survey issued on the potential use of a project labor agreement (PLA) on renovation and repair projects throughout six New England states. Those states include Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. The work will be done on a variety of Federal Facilities and could potentially expand to the USACE North Atlantic division which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Submissions are due no later than 5 p.m. (ET) on June 2 and should be sent to Kimberly Pumyear at [email protected]. ABC National has taken the opportunity to respond to all PLA surveys as they are issued and encourages its members to do the same. For assistance with responding to the survey, contact ABC’s Director of Federal Procurement and Labor Affairs Ben Brubeck, [email protected].
