ABC is reminding its contractor member firms that 2014 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Form 300A work-related injury and illness log summaries must be posted in a visible spot on all construction sites Feb. 1 through April 30.

The summaries which list the total number of job-related injuries and illnesses that occurred in 2014 and were logged on the employer's OSHA Form 300A must be certified by a company executive and displayed on an area where notices to employees are typically posted. Employment information about the average number of employees and total hours worked during the calendar year is also required. Companies with no recordable injuries or illnesses in 2014 must still post the form, with zeros on the total line.

Employers with 10 or fewer employees or those in certain industries may be exempt from OSHA recordkeeping requirements. Check if your firm is required to post a summary and download copies of the OSHA Form 300A.
