The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) issued a survey requesting feedback from the construction industry about including a government-mandated project labor agreement (PLA) in a solicitation for a federal contract to build a new air traffic control tower exceeding $25 million in Tucson, Ariz. Responses must be submitted via email to Darren Odegard at [email protected] by June 21, 2013. To review and respond to the survey, click here. All ABC members and construction professionals are encouraged to respond to the request for information and tell USACE that government-mandated PLAs harm competition, increase costs, and impede the economy and efficiency of government contracting. For more information on PLAs, visit www.thetruthaboutplas.com, Facebook.com/thetruthaboutplas and Twitter.com/truthaboutplas.
