As part of an ongoing partnership with the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships (NCPPP), ABC is sponsoring an upcoming conference in Atlanta, Ga., that will focus on an ABC of Georgia-supported law that allows local and state governments to enter into partnerships with the private sector for water, wastewater, social infrastructure and other projects. Over the past several years, ABC has worked with the NCPPP to educate the construction industry and lawmakers about the benefits of P3s. During “The Future of P3s in Georgia: ACEC Georgia P3 Summit/NCPPP P3 Insight Forum,” Sept. 24, Georgia leaders will explain the law, while experts from the legal, construction, financing and consulting fields will address how local and state government agencies can take advantage of the opportunities created by the law. For more information on the conference and to see the agenda, visit the conference website . In addition, ABC members can register for the member rate using the registration link on the website.
