The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is looking for responses to two surveys regarding the potential use of government-mandated project labor agreements (PLA) on projects in Hawaii and Washington. In addition, the U.S. Navy’s Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) is requesting comments on a PLA survey for a project in California. Responses to the USACE survey addressing the large-scale, federal design-bid-build contract to repair and renovate a Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Lab and the Department of Clinical Investigation Building #40 at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) in Honolulu, Hawaii, are due by noon on Aug. 1, to Marta Anerton at [email protected]. The USACE also released a survey for the Oak Harbor Hospital Modernization Project at the Naval Air Station in Whidbey Island, Wash. More information on this project can be found here. Surveys must also be returned to Marta Anerton at [email protected] by noon on Aug. 1. NAVFAC’s survey is for a heating system project at the Naval Base in San Diego, Calif. Feedback is due by 2 p.m. (PT) on Aug. 8 to Larry Romig at [email protected]. More information on this project can be found here. If you need help responding to these surveys, please contact ABC National Director of Labor and Federal Procurement Ben Brubeck, [email protected].
