ABC’s Legislative Conference will feature Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) as the keynote speaker during the Free Enterprise Alliance (FEA) reception on June 11 and Rep. Martha Roby (R-Ala.-3) as the speaker at the Young Professionals Reception on June 12.

Elected in 2010, Paul has proven to be an outspoken champion for constitutional liberties and fiscal responsibility, and a warrior against government overreach. Among his first legislative proposals: cutting $500 billion in federal spending and a plan to balance the federal budget in just five years. He has since introduced similar bills with growing support.

Roby is currently serving her second term in the U.S. House of Representatives where she has been a forceful advocate for cutting wasteful spending to balance the budget, reducing the national debt, and eliminating bureaucratic red tape that limits the private sector's ability to get Americans back to work.

In addition, the Legislative Conference will give attendees a chance to participate in a day of lobbying and discussions on current and emerging issues facing the construction industry.
