Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) announced that Vice President Mike Pence will deliver the keynote address at its Legislative Day on June 22 at 9:30 a.m. He will speak to member construction contractors gathered for ABC Legislative Week 2017 before they head to Capitol Hill for meetings with lawmakers.

“I am honored to welcome Vice President Mike Pence—a fellow Hoosier—to speak to members of Associated Builders and Contractors,” said 2017 ABC Chair Chuck Goodrich, president of Gaylor Electric, Indianapolis. “He understands how vital construction is to creating jobs and growing our national economy, and we look forward to hearing his perspective on the issues of consequence we came to Washington to discuss. These include an urgent need for 500,000 construction workers—even before we contemplate a massive infrastructure rebuilding plan.”

Additional security measures will be in place for the vice president’s appearance at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. Only Legislative Day registrants may attend, and a badge with a Legislative Conference ribbon is required to gain access to the event.

ABC Legislative Week also features Free Enterprise Alliance Reception, Diversity & Inclusion Summit, YP Symposium and Legal Conference, June 19-23. Plan to attend the vice president’s appearance and join fellow members to educate members of Congress about the issues that affect your business. Register now for this exciting event!
