The ABC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter and Rep. David Jolly (R-Fla.) have partnered on an effort to bring nine Little Free Libraries to Pinellas County in Florida. Little Free Libraries are “take a book, leave a book” libraries designed to encourage kids to read by making books easily accessible at no cost.

In the wake of the Boston marathon bombings, The ABC Massachusetts Chapter has made a contribution to the One Fund Boston, Inc., the charity set up by Gov. Deval Patrick and Mayor Thomas Menino to provide support to those affected by this tragic event.

ABC showed its support for veterans and Hurricane Sandy survivors Nov. 6 when the Free Enterprise Alliance announced it had sponsored veteran Matt Runyon, El Segundo, Calif., as he joined Team Rubicon’s relief efforts.
