The Small Business Administration (SBA) Oct. 10 announced ABC Hawaii Chapter member Kaleo Nawahine, president of Performance Systems, Inc., as the National Minority Small Business Person of the Year. Nawahine is certified in the SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program.

OSHA Adds Four New OTI Centers And Renews 24 Existing Centers

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Sept. 28 announced it added four new OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers in addition to renewing 24 existing centers. Among the renewed centers is the Mid-America OTI Education Center out of Springboro, Ohio, which is affiliated with the ABC Ohio Valley Chapter.

Suspected Arsonist Destroys ABC Indiana Chapter's Trailer

A semitrailer owned by the ABC Indiana Chapter and ABC member Gaylor, Inc. was destroyed by fire Sept. 11, and arson is suspected.
